What happens in the initial evaluation? The first visit is a comprehensive review of your mental, medical and social history, allowing me to develop a full understanding of you and your needs. Most of the time one visit is sufficient for this, but some complex cases may require two visits. We will then establish a treatment plan that may include lifestyle changes, therapy and medication. Depending on the case, medication may be started after the first visit.

Telepsychiatry appointments are the same as face-to-face appointments.
