Dr. Schirch is a compassionate and dedicated physician who treats children, adolescents, and adults in her Beverly Hills practice. She helps patients with a variety of mental health conditions including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), mood disorders, anxiety disorders and eating disorders. Her comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care is designed to optimize mental, physical and spiritual health, helping her patients lead fulfilling lives.

 

After obtaining her medical degree at University El Bosque in Bogota, Colombia, Dr. Schirch spent a year training at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. She completed her residency training in Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego, followed by a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

 

Dr. Schirch has over 10 years experience working with patients with eating disorders, and has been the consulting psychiatrist for renowned treatment programs including The Bella Vita,  Center for Discovery and Clearview. She has also worked with patients with chronic mental illness and substance abuse in the Adolescent Medicine Department at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

 

Multilingual and culturally sensitive, Dr. Schirch understands the importance of building strong and long-lasting therapeutic relationships with patients of all backgrounds and ages. She follows a bio-psycho-social model of medicine, meaning she views all her patients as individuals, and carefully develops unique treatments plans that address all aspects of their lives. She strongly believes in collaborating with other healthcare providers to provide the very best treatment for each patient.

 

Dr. Schirch is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and is board certified in both adult and child psychiatry. She is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
